Hi All

Having for a long time stroggled with a Snitz-Forum which has Forums with up to 400 Subscribers.
When posting, it can take up to 1� minite on a bad day (when the mail-server is loaded).
Have searched for a Mod to make it possible to show a Please-Wait or a Progress-bar when the server sends out the mails, so the user knows something is going on, but havn't found something yet.
Had a hope that the SHN-Forums has incorporated a solution to this, but unfortunately not. The Please-Wait message first turns up after all the mails are sent.

Hope someone have a suggestion, or will find it interesting to find a usable solution.

b - i need to update, and, possibly, turn back on My SQL

may i retain my old db?
Is 3.4.06 ok for updating a 3.4.03?

Correct Install on MS SQL 2005 or 2008?

When installing the forum for the first time with MS SQL, the two options for creating the database are:
SQL-Server 6.5
SQL-Server 7 / 2000

What about MS SQL 2005 or 2008? Should I select the second option? Can anyone tell me about any known compatibility issues with MS SQL 2005 or 2008?

I am an "old" serverhacker user, in www.jtv.cc and before a old Snitz user, in www.jeeptelevision.com/forum

I need to upgrade: with the help of snitzbitz, in 2002 i went to MS Sql database, with a lot of work in the script.

Now, i dont exactly know what version i have of SH, and also of Snitx: it seems 3.4.03 but if i remember, i did upgrade the Snitz..

Can anyone help me?

I presently have SHN v3.4 running on an intranet and so far the only changes I see are mostly cosmetic.

Silly question, but - is there a list of features for the SHN Forum? A changelog would also be nice.
